Liechtenstein Blockchain Laws Approved

On May 7th 2019, the Government of the Principality of Liechtenstein approved the government bill known as “The Blockchain Act”. The official name of the blockchain laws is the Token and Trusted Technology Service Provider Law (TTTL, TT Law or TTL). Link to Press Release.

Since the prime minister of Liechtenstein, Mr. Adrian Hasler, announced the Blockchain Act in June 2018, the industry had been waiting for the laws to be officially passed. In times of legal uncertainty, the Liechtenstein new legal frame-work is an important step to ensure clarity and guidance for the whole crypto industry. The first reading of the bill in Parliament is expected to take place in June 2019.

Besides the well known Annual Meeting in Davos the World Economic Forum is hosting the Annual Meeting of the New Champions annually in China as well as many other regional or industry events and closed gatherings.

WEF Annual Meeting of the New Champions 2019

The Annual Meeting of the New Champions is designed as the foremost global summit on innovation and entrepreneurship with more than 100 working sessions and community activities, along with the opportunity to engage in several new Forum initiatives. The WEF AMNC 2018 has been taken place in September at Tianjin China. This year the organising committee has decided to move the whole event to July.

The AMNC 2019’s agenda is focusing four key topics: Fostering Agile Industry Leadership, Promoting Responsible Leadership, Sustaining Economic Leadership and Achieving Technology Leadership.

About Dalian China

Often called the “Hong Kong of the North,” Dalian enjoys a privileged stature as one of China’s most livable cities. It has a picturesque setting with numerous parks and nice swimmable beaches. Throughout its long history, several foreign nations called it their own, thanks to its strategic position on the Liaodong Peninsula on Korea Bay. The World Economic Forum along with many other internationally known events help the city of Dalian to gain international recognition and to become one of the globally known Chinese regions. This enlarged international acceptance will benefit Dalian, by becoming the host of other international events, undergo further projects and turn into a new international trading center of China.
