Monty is Founding Partner at Digital Leaders Ventures, a luxembourg-based Venture Capital Fund, and investment advisor to several european investment houses as well as fast growing technology StartUps. Since 2015 his Venture Capital Fund, Digital Leaders Ventures is investing in technology startups in Europe, USA and Israel. 2017 DLV.vc started a global startup contest to identify, support and invest in the most promising companies focusing on #SmartCities. The initiative is called FIA Smart Cities Startup and is supported by the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), FIA Formula E, ENEL and Julius Baer. Besides representatives of DLV, FIA and each partner the Jury of the global startup competition includes the Head of Technology Industries at the World Economic Forum.
DLV is embracing the opportunities of bitcoin, blockchain and alternative cryptocurrencies. In this role Monty is coaching institutions, governments and startups on blockchain, crypto-technology and Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs).

He has two decades of experience as a manager and entrepreneur with focus on digital media. Monty found his first internet company at the age of 18 when he was still at school. He graduated in Switzerland and Germany in Business Administration and electronic Marketing with additional executive programs at Harvard Business School HBS in Boston, USA. 2003 Monty found a global Trend Research Consultancy with offices in Munich, Tokyo, Beijing and New York. In 2008 Monty sold the company, started his Investment and Business Angel activities and initiated an open think tank on the future of mobile communication „MOBILE FUTURE 2020: A collaborative vision of the future of mobile media“. Monty is married and lives with his wife and his two kids in Munich, Germany, but also spending a lot of time in San Francisco, USA and Luxembourg.
